If you search for “S&OP” or “Sales and Operations Planning” on the web, the returns are dominated by software solutions, sample spreadsheets and recommended meeting hierarchies.
S&OP is viewed as a planning niche. Lock them in a room, shovel in the data and then  let them out once a month for the S&OP meeting.
At Barn Five while we recognise  that software, spreadsheets and meetings can be part of the S&OP solution, we focus on exploring the S&OP problem or as we prefer to call it, the S&OP challenge.
